Privacy policy
Version 1 — October 27th, 2026
Effective October 27th, 2026
jomang is an invite-only beta for up to 10 testers. This policy explains how we use information to run your account, organise your work and provide the features you choose.
What we collect and why
Your email address and account profile are used to sign you in through Supabase Auth and manage your access.
We store the tasks, goals, strategy, focuses, notes, documents, contacts and drafts you add, along with settings and activity records, to organise your work, sync it across devices and show what happened.
Voice recordings and transcripts are stored so you can capture, replay and organise notes. Unsaved recordings may remain in this browser until you save or discard them.
If you connect Google, we store your connected email address, permissions and encrypted connection credentials. Calendar access is read-only (calendar.events.readonly): event details such as titles, times and attendees provide scheduling context. Gmail sending uses message content and recipients only after your approval. Connecting does not give the beta access to read your Gmail inbox.
Account sessions and browser preferences use cookies and local storage. Device details, request logs and page-usage analytics help operate the app, diagnose failures and understand usage.
Who processes information
- Supabase handles account authentication and stores app records, connection credentials, voice recordings and transcripts so your information can sync across devices.
- Vercel hosts the web app and server routes, processes requests and operational logs, and provides page-usage analytics.
- Anthropic processes relevant work context, instructions and drafts for AI planning, writing and strategy editing. OpenAI processes relevant work context for AI assistance and audio for transcription when enabled. Calendar event details and other content used for planning can be sent to Anthropic and OpenAI to make your plan, including through a worker run by jomang's owner on their own computer (their Mac).
- When cloud transcription is enabled, recordings and any supplied vocabulary hints go to the selected configured provider: OpenAI, AssemblyAI, ElevenLabs or Google Gemini. A failed transcription may use one backup provider; an explicit comparison sends the recording to the providers you select.
- Google processes account connection details, calendar requests and approved Gmail messages to provide those features, and audio when Gemini transcription is selected.
- When enabled, Railway hosts background routines that read relevant app records to run scheduled work; Healthchecks.io receives routine status pings for monitoring. Optional Telegram capture passes messages you send through Telegram into your notes queue.
Google data
jomang's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use connected Google data to provide the features you request.

Your choices and deletion
You can disconnect Google in Settings and revoke access in your Google account. You can delete saved voice notes in the app. Contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of your account data. After account deletion, data is held so the deletion can be undone. It is permanently erased from jomang's systems after 14 days. Our service providers keep backups and logs for their own limited periods.
How we do not use your data
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for ads. jomang does not train public AI models on your data.
